T. Andrew Albritton, MD is associate dean for curriculum and professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He has served as the medicine clerkship director and director of student education for the Department of Medicine. In addition to serving as the associate dean for curriculum, he is the co-director of the community-based faculty development program and program director for Essentials of Clinical Medicine. Dr. Albritton will discuss the principles of teaching and evaluating students in a busy practice.
By the end of this presentation, community health providers will be able to:
- Describe strategies to more effectively integrate learners into a busy practice
- Describe advantages and rewards of teaching students in the clinical setting
