Session Description: This program is designed to provide participants with information on the field of physical therapy. Sam Echols of Advance Rehab, Inc will present a session highlighting various components of the career of physical therapy with regard to high school preparation, college admission requirements, requirements for licensure, trends, work environments, specialties, and career opportunities.

Session Objectives:
Participants will:
  1. Discuss high school preparation and college requirements to enter the field of Physical Therapy
  2. Discuss career pathways and specialties in the field of Physical Therapy
  3. Discuss admission/educational requirements, work environments, and salaries
  4. Discuss trends and the future in the field of Physical Therapy

Technology Requirements:
Participants registering for programs should have access to the following technology for best viewing and participation:
  • Personal computer with Macintosh or Windows with 512 MB of RAM
  • Broadband internet connection such as an office LAN, DSL, or cable modem
  • Phone next to personal computer (or speaker phone if multiple people are viewing)
  • Computer speakers (built-in or attached)
