Session Description:

The Pathway to Med School Admissions Forum provides participants with information regarding all Georgia medical schools, including admissions standards and processes, introduces participants to some of the decision makers at Georgia medical school admissions offices, and provides participants with the opportunity to have their specific questions regarding medical school answered during the live event. The Pathway to Med School Admissions Forum is one scheduled event during the four-week summer residential Pathway to Med School Program.

Session Objectives:

Participants will be:
  1. Provided information regarding all Georgia medical schools, including admissions standards and processes.
  2. Introduced to some of the decision-makers at Georgia medical school admissions offices.
  3. Provided the opportunity to get their specific questions regarding medical school answered at the live event.


Technology Requirements:
Participants registering for programs should have access to the following technology for best viewing and participation:
  • Personal computer with Macintosh or Windows with 512 MB of RAM
  • Broadband internet connection such as an office LAN, DSL, or cable modem
  • Phone next to personal computer (or speaker phone if multiple people are viewing)
  • Computer speakers (built-in or attached)
  • Latest version of Adobe Flash which can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com/
