Dr. Amy House provides statistical information regarding intimate partner violence (IPV) across the US and in the state of Georgia. She discusses how IPV manifests in the forms of physical, sexual & psychological abuse. Dr. House details the following related to IPV victimization: risk factors, signs & symptoms, mental health, and general health indicators. She defines and encourages the physician’s role and guiding principles in IPV using a RADAR format.
