Session Description:
The presentation will educate the viewers on how to design and deliver health programs for migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Viewers will also receive a brief history of the border agricultural workers from their origins in rural Mexico to the agricultural fields of America and how culturally relevant health services are provided.
Session Objectives:
By the end of the presentation, community health providers will learn:
- Strategies used for service delivery to migrant and seasonal farmworkers
- Define the different types of farmworkers and the questions to ask to identify whether the workers are migrant, seasonal, or H2A workers
- Barriers farmworkers encounter when trying to access health care services
- Challenges of serving farmworkers
Technology Requirements:
Participants registering for programs should have access to the following technology for best viewing and participation:

- Broadband internet connection such as an office LAN, DSL, or cable modem
