About Healthcare Georgia Foundation
Healthcare Georgia Foundation is a statewide, private independent foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to advance the health of all Georgians and to expand access to affordable, quality healthcare for underserved individuals and communities.
Supported by a grant from Healthcare Georgia Foundation, HealthTecdl is a network of organizations with the intent of providing Distance Learning (DL) tools to disseminate information and capacity building programs primarily to non-profit health organizations within the state of Georgia. Distance Learning Tools include a combination of video and web conferencing.
Phase II of the Distance Learning Program was funded in 2007, and includes participation by seven Georgia-based Area Health Education Centers:
