About SPCC Atlanta AHEC
The Atlanta AHEC is a non-profit regional health organization that provides local leadership to ensure a health profession workforce that meets the health care needs of the communities we serve. We support the efforts of academic institutions in establishing community linkages to increase the supply, distribution and provision of primary care services in underserved areas.
Our services encompass a range of activities to support health career students that include education and recruitment, support while in training, job placement, and continuing education.
The mission of SPCC Atlanta is to improve access to quality health care and health promotion services in Fulton, Clayton, and Dekalb counties, by improving the distribution of health professionals, and by supporting community organization and development.
