Why is the 2020 Census particularly important for Georgia? In the last 40 years the state because of its growth, has gained 3 electoral college votes. Georgia has received over $1,300 per person counted in the 2010 census and corresponding population estimates. The 2020 Census presents challenges and opportunities that will impact the state for the next 10 years. This webinar will focus on what you need to know and what opportunities are available to make sure the state receives a fair share of investments representative of its population.

- Increase awareness of census timeline, challenges and opportunities for engagement
- Increase awareness of resources for webinar participants to deepen their study on under-counted areas and populations
- Have a firm grasp on what are "Hard-to-Count" populations
