Program Description
This program provides a framework for healthcare providers and their partners to collaborate in addressing the need for affordable, accessible, and quality behavioral healthcare in a rural setting. Participants will explore the challenges that exist in rural healthcare delivery and will discuss effective strategies for addressing those challenges at the community level. The key role of early intervention services will be discussed as providers are encouraged to partner and work together to build safer, healthier communities.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:
- Identify challenges in providing behavioral health services in a rural healthcare setting
- Discuss effective strategies for building collaborative partnerships with stakeholders
- Demonstrate the return on investment for the provision of recovery-focused early intervention services in the community
